Seemanta Chetana Mancha Purvottar, a registered socio-cultural and non-political organization, formed on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami on 13 April 2008 in Assam, officially launched its much awaited monthly journal titled Frontier Insights along with its e-newsletter on 10 December 2025 at NEDFi house auditorium in the city.

A book on Assamese covering Pancha Parivartan was also unveiled by Dr Sunil Mohanti, Asom Kshetra Prachar Pramukh of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), in the presence of Dhruba Mahanta, press secretary to Assam chief minister, PVSLN Murty, chairman of the North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd (NEDFi) and Sanjay Aditya Singh, chairman of the editorial board for Frontier Insights.
Pijush Hazarika, a cabinet minister of Assam government, was supposed to grace the program, but could not attend the event due to unavoidable engagements. Conveying his message on the occasion, Hazarika stated that safeguarding of ‘our frontiers is essential for the stability and prosperity of the entire nation’.

The minister in charge of State IPR, also highlighted the crucial connection between civic awareness and national integrity, while commending Seemanta Chetana Mancha Purvottar for the endeavour and expecting that the newsletter would serve as an ‘important instrument to connect our remote villages with the national consciousness’.

Dr Mohanti, in his address to the gathering of notable dignitaries, emphasized the ideological basis of community service and nation-building, asserting that both the book and the newsletter are in perfect harmony with the mission of cultural and national awakening. The introduction of ‘Pancha Parivartan’ (Five transformations focusing on social cohesion, family-oriented enlightenment, environmental protection, civic responsibility, etc) and ‘Frontier Insights’ encapsulates the essence of Byakti Nirman to Rashtra Nirman (Individual development to nation building). Bharat’s genuine strength lies in the cultural and ideological clarity among the populace. These initiatives will foster a sense of pride and collective responsibility, transforming every citizen into a vigilant guardian of our motherland, he added.

On the other hand, Mahanta commented that in the current digital era, it is crucial that accurate information reaches the audience. He hoped that the publications would act as a potent, dedicated platform to convey the narratives of resilience and developmental progress occurring in the border regions. The exercise should be vital for national integration and also countering anti-national narratives, he added. Murty highlighted the inextricable connection between economic development and border security. A secure border is one that possesses economic strength, he stated.

Earlier, Singh pointed out that the security of border regions is not merely the duty of government armed forces but a joint endeavour that commences with an enlightened and empowered citizenry. Through ‘Frontier Insights,’ a platform has been created to disseminate information, share stories of resilience, and also provide strategic insights, he said, adding that it’s committed to understanding, appreciating, and improving Bharat’s border security framework, where the objective remains to actively emphasize the essential role of citizens and their shared responsibility in safeguarding national security and fostering comprehensive development in border regions.
