Raipur Kerala Samajam (RKS) on Sunday celebrated Onam in the Chhattisgarh capital with fervour and gaiety.
Deepak Maskey, Chairman of the Chhattisgarh State Medical Services Corporation (CSMSC) and Ramakant Mishra, Deputy Solicitor General, graced the occasion as special guests.
During the program, students who had excelled in academics, sports, and competitive examinations were honoured. Members of the Samajam also presented a variety of attractive and colorful cultural programs.
The comedy-show and musical performances by the Flowers Kerala Entertainment team were particularly captivating and enthralled the audience. Representatives from various organizations from Raipur and Bhilai also attended the programme in a large number.
On this occasion, a free health check-up camp, a cancer awareness campaign, and a blood donation camp were organized, which were well-appreciated by the attendees.
The event was followed by a delicious traditional Kerala meal, Onam Sadhya.
The entire executive committee and members of the Samajam were actively present throughout the programme, which contributed to the event’s resounding success.
