Raipur Kerala Samajam (RKS) successfully organized a variety of cultural and sports competitions on the eve of Onam festival here in the state capital of Chhattisgarh.
The event is part of the annual calendar of the RKS hosted on the occasion of Onam, a festival of joy and happiness for the Keralites. The sports competitions included football, tug of war, chess, carrom, and musical chair.
The vibrant cultural events featured fancy dress, drawing, calligraphy, dance, and singing competitions among others. Kerala’s traditional floral rangoli competition was the main highlight of the programme.
Events were designed for every age group, ensuring enthusiastic and active participation from all sections of the community.
At the conclusion of the competitions, prizes were distributed to the winners. On this occasion, the entire Governing Body Members of the Raipur Kerala Samajam were present. The participants and audience appreciated the event, describing it as highly successful and inspiring.
