All devotees are eagerly awaiting this auspicious moment, jubilantly dancing to the tune of the song – Ayyappa Thinthakathom, Swami Thinthakathom’.

The war cry of the regiment is ‘Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa’. The Brahmos regiment’s war cry is seen as a fitting tribute to Lord Ayyappa as the deity is symbolized to have defeated the evil forces by riding atop a tiger holding a bow and arrow.

Recently, the 861 Missile Regiment and its Brahmos missile systems had participated in the 73rd Indian Army Day, which was observed on January 15, where the sacred chants to Lord Ayyappa were first heard.

After the virtual meeting held today, SASS National General Secretary N Rajan informed that a resolution was passed in this regard and decided to write letters to the concerned departments to convey the gratitude of the organisation and crores of Ayyappa devotees world-wide.

The Brahmos regiment’s war cry is seen as a befitting tribute to Lord Ayyappa as the deity is symbolized to have defeated the evil forces by riding atop a horse holding a bow and arrow and returned riding on a wild tiger. It is an occasion for the world to know more about the history of a brave warrior, the God of Kaliyuga, and Ayyappa Dharma.

Rajan said that Sabarimala Ayyappa Seva Samajam had given a call to all Ayyappa devotees to perform special poojas and chant prayers for victory of the Indian Army and all-round wellness of our Country.
