Chief Justice (CJ) of Chhattisgarh High Court Justice Ramesh Sinha said the construction of a residential complex for judicial staff in remote forest area of Ambagarh Chowki was a big leap forward towards strengthening the justice system.
Earlier, Justice Sinha performed the Bhoomi Pujan for the residential project. The initiative is considered to be an important step towards making the justice system more robust, effective and human-oriented.
On the occasion, the Chief Justice said that justice was not just an abstract ideal, but a practical necessity that it was the responsibility of the state to deliver to every citizen. He also said that it was very important to provide a better work and residence environment to judicial officers and employees for the smooth functioning of the justice system.
He reminded that on March 29, 2025, a big start was made towards judicial solution in this area by setting up the First Track Court in Ambagarh Chowki. In the same sequence, now the construction of a residential complex will further strengthen the effort. “This will not only provide relief to the judicial employees, but this complex will also become a strong and effective medium for them to connect better with the legal system,” Justice Sinha said.
He also clarified that the construction was not only the demand of the time, but was a visionary step in view of the immediate and essential needs of the judicial employees. With the availability of well-equipped residential complexes, the judicial employees will also be saved from emotional and financial stress, which will also improve their work performance, he added.
Praising the initiative of the Chief Justice, the other speakers said during his entire tenure, he understood the concerns of the citizens living in remote areas and took the initiative for its resolution, which reflects his dedication towards strengthening the justice policy and infrastructure.
The Portfolio judges and judges of Rajnandgaon district, Collector of District Mohla Manpur Ambagarh Chowki, Superintendent of Police, representatives of the Advocates Association, public representatives and a large number of local citizens were present in the Bhoomi Pujan programme.
