Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will organize nationwide “workers’ training” to boost its volunteers to battle the possible third wave of Corona.
The trained workers will reach about 2.5 lakh places even as 27,166 shakhas of the Sangh have started working at the ground level.
Besides discussion on the organizational activities, the Akhil Bharatiya Prant Pracharak meeting of the RSS held in Madhya Pradesh’s Chitrakoot deliberated on the circumstances arising out of the second wave of Corona and reviewed the social works taken up in the Prants (provinces). Facilitation centers and promotion campaigns for vaccination conducted by volunteers were also reviewed.
In view of the possibility of the third wave of Corona, special “workers’ training” will be organized across the country to succour the local administration and people in dealing with the situation. The trained workers will reach about 2.5 lakh places and share the necessary information required to boost the morale of the society. This training will be completed in the month of August.
From September, Jan Jagran (public awareness) campaign will be launched in every village and township. The individuals and other social organisations will be associated with the campaign. The RSS workers will be trained to inform people about necessary precautions and measures especially for children and mothers to prevent from the contagious virus.
Sunil Ambekar, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of RSS, said the daily Sangh Shakhas have also started as the conditions are returning to normal after COVID induced lockdown. It has been informed in the meeting that at present a total of 39,454 Shakhas are operating across the country, out of which 27,166 are now taking place in the field and 12,288 are e-shakhas. Also, there are 10,130 weekly meetings i.e. ‘Saptahik Milan’, out of which 6510 are taking place on ground, 3620 meetings are taking place online as E-Milan. The Kutumb Milan ( Family meets), which started specially during the lockdown period of Corona are 9637 across the country.
