SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant’s OHP, Blast Furnaces, SMS-3 and BRM have set new records on Monday in production as well as in techno-economics.
The Chhattisgarh-based SAIL entity’s Ore Handling Plant has recorded its highest shift material handling on Monday. The entire team of Ore Handling Plant in association with supporting departments recorded highest ever shift material handling of 26,755 Tonnes in A-Shift on November 7, 2022 as against previous best shift record of 26,430 tonnes recorded on 05th February 2022.
SAIL-BSP Blast Furnaces created a new record by increasing the highest ever daily Coal Dust Injection (CDI) volume, by injecting 2537 tonnes of coal dust on Monday, setting a new record for highest daily coal dust injection, surpassing the previous record of 2435 tonnes of coal dust injection on November 5, 2022.
Modex unit Steel Melting Shop-3 (SMS-3) of Bhilai Steel Plant produced Highest day production of 69 heats on Monday and broke the production record of Previous highest 66 heats recorded on July 18, 2022.
SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant’s Modex Unit, Bar and Rod Mill has once again created a new daily record. Bar and Rod Mill recorded best daily production in the rolling of 12 mm TMT bars of 2882 Ton on Monday, surpassing the previous best of 2867 Ton created on July 12, 2022.
Director-in-charge of SAIL-BSP Anirban Dasgupta visited these departments today morning and congratulated the employees and officers of the department for their excellent performance. Along with this, he also expressed his best wishes to the associated departments of these record-breaking departments.
