The Board of Directors of state-run Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) will meet on January 30, 2026 to consider the financial results.
“The meeting of the Board of Directors of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) will be held on 30th January, 2026 at New Delhi to, inter-alia, consider, approve and take on record the Unaudited Standalone and Consolidated Financial Results of the Company for the Quarter and Nine Months ended 31st December, 2025,” SAIL said in a regulatory filing today.
SAIL’s second quarter (Q2) results, announced in late October 2025, showed increased revenue but a significant drop in net profit due to margin pressures, with Profit After Tax (PAT) falling around 53 per cent year-on-year to approximately Rs 419 crore on revenue of about Rs 26,700-Rs 26,900 crore, despite steady production and increased sales volume.
Key metrics included Revenue of Rs 26,704 crore (up 8.2 per cent YoY) and PAT of Rs 419 Cr (down 53 per cent YoY), with operational efficiency efforts noted, though margins compressed.
