Employees belonging to Utilities, Power Electrical and, I andA zones of Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP), an arm of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), were awarded with the ‘Pali Shiromani ‘and‘Karm Shiromani Puraskar’.
The awards were given away on Wednesday for their exemplary work performance under the ‘Shiromani Puraskar Yojana’ of Bhilai Steel Plant.
Pali Shiromani Award winners of 4 zones of P and E included Shakti Kumar Manikpuri, AGM, OP-II, Sushildev Bhalekar, Asstt. Manager, PEM, M C Joy, Asstt. Manager, DNW and Suresh Kumar Nagdeo, Asstt. Manager, Instrumentation(O) and Karm Shiromani Award winners Dilip Kumar, OCT, OP-II., Nisir Biswas, Sr. Techn., PEM, K Balkrishna , C/Man sum Sr. Technician, HME and Ram Bachan Sahu, Chargeman, Instrumentation(O), were felicitated for their exemplary work.
The function was presided over by Asit Saha, CGM I/c (M&U). Departmental HODs Girish Abaji Sorte, CGM (Utilities), Rajeev Pandey, CGM (Power Facilities), Arjunan Shankar, GM I/c (Electrical), Sant Kumar Keshkar, GM I/c (Instrumentation), H K Sahu, GM I/c (PBS & PEM) and heads of the various departments presented the award winners with a certificate of merit, memento and appreciation letter for the spouse of the employee.
The programme was conducted by Personnel Office of P&E Zone.
