As a step towards providing better facilities to its employees, SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant Management announced a Gift scheme on the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja on Sunday.
The Town Services Department of BSP has decided that the entire residence of Plant’s employees shall be Whitewashed (Painted) on account of their Son’s or Daughter’s Marriage, the company said in a statement. Prior to this scheme, necessary repairs and whitewashing were done only at the time of allotment of the Residential Quarters.
Only the Plant’s personnel and Executives will get the benefit of this scheme. In order to avail the benefits of this scheme, a prior application has to be made before the Town Services Department of Bhilai Steel Plant, along with the Wedding Invitation Card of the Employee’s Son’s and Daughter’s marriage.
The initiative by the Town Services Department (TSD) will only be provided as per the existing resources and contracts.
SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant celebrated Vishwakarma Pooja with fervour on September 17, 2023. Different sections from various departments celebrated the day with enthusiasm and devotion. Decorations with grandeur adorned Plant’s Departments on this occasion, both inside and outside the Plant premises.
Anirban Dasgupta, Director I/c (BSP) visited numerous departments since morning to witness the Pooja Festivities. Dasgupta conveyed his best wishes to the Bhilai Steel Plant Collective and urged them to follow safety standards at the workplace.
During his visit to the Plant, Dasgupta was accompanied by, S Mukhopadhyay, ED (Projects), AK. Chakraborty, ED (MM), Samir Swarup, ED (Rowghat), Pawan Kumar, ED (P & A), Dr Ravindranath M., CMO I/c (M&HS), Tapas Dasgupta, Acting ED (Works) and other Senior Officials.
After completing Vishwakarma Puja in his office at Ispat Bhawan, Shri Anirban Dasgupta, Director I/c (BSP) along with accompanying Senior Officials took part in the ongoing Puja Ceremonies at various departments and sections of the Plant, beginning with HRDC. Thereafter, Dasgupta paid obeisance to Vishwakarma at the Expansion Building Conference Hall, followed by other departments including BRM, URM, URM, T&D, Mechanical, SMS-III, P&BS, BFs, CO & CCD, SP-3, OHP, SMS-II, Plate Mill, Electrical and Fire Brigade Departments and conveyed their best wishes on Vishwakarma Pooja to the employees.
