The Central Induction Programme for Management Trainees Technical (MTTs) -2021 batch of SAIL was inaugurated virtually through the SAIL Webex platform by Soma Mondal, Chairman SAIL on Tuesday.
It covered the MTTs earmarked for Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) and Chandrapur Ferro-alloys Plant (CFP) who are undergoing their Central Induction at HRDC, BSP.
The Central Induction Programme was joined and addressed by all functional Directors of SAIL, respective Directors In-charge and CEOs of different plants & units of SAIL and ED (HRD), MTI (Management Training Institute). One new MTT (Tech) from the five integrated steel plants (ISPs) of SAIL shared their experiences and expectations briefly on behalf of their batch. Ms. Chitra Wagh expressed her views on behalf of MTTs of BSP during the inaugural session.
Earlier on August 2, Anirban Dasgupta, Director I/c BSP had an informal interaction with the MTTs (Tech) of BSP and CFP in presence of SK Dubey, ED (P&A) and Anjani Kumar, ED (Works) at Assembly Hall, HRDC, wherein he exhorted the fresh entrants to utilize their full potential and versatility for the benefit of the organisation. He assured them of best possible opportunities and support for their professional growth in SAIL.
A total of 40 MTTs (Tech) including 38 for BSP and two for CFP are undergoing their central Induction at HRDC, BSP, which will go on till 12th August 2021. The programme is being conducted in blended mode, with some sessions being conducted online by MTI, Ranchi and the others by faculty from BSP.
