Rourkela, October 17
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) and Mitsubishi Corporation, Japan at the ED (MM) Conference Hall on 16th October, 2023 for supply of 453 Operational & Maintenance spares for the State-of-the-art Hot Strip Mill-2 for a period of 2 years.
The MOU was signed by Karnail Singh Virdi, GM In-charge (MM) on behalf of SAIL, RSP and by Arihiro Nakamura, General Manager of M/s Mitsubishi Corporation, Japan. The exchange of the signed document was done between Mr Somnath Tripathy, ED (MM) of SAIL-RSP and Mr Hidehiko Teshigawara of M/s Mitsubishi Corporation, Japan.
Ms. Ayako Terao & Ms. Ginni Sabharwal of M/s Mitsubishi Corporation, Japan joined the ceremony through virtual mode.
The ceremony was attended by several Chief General Managers and other Senior officers of RSP. M Srinivas, GM (MM), R K Singhal, GM, HSM-II, Ranjit Kujur, GM HSM-II, Ajay Kumar Agarwal, GM (F&A), M K Mudali, GM (Roll Shop), G B Mishra, GM (PD), S K Dash, GM (Projects) and Deepak Kumar Das, Assistant Manager (MM) Import, had made significant contributions in finalization of the MoU.
