CMD SECL Dr Prem Sagar Mishra called on Ms. Neenu Ittyerah, General Manager, South East Central Railway in Bilaspur today and discussed key matters related to rail corridors and coal dispatch.
While discussing rail corridor projects of CERL and CEWRL, CMD Dr. Mishra urged for commencement of CTR work on Burhar siding at the earliest. He also discussed the transportation of coal to sidings and availability of rakes by Railways and support needed from railways for optimizing movement of rakes.
During the meeting CMD SECL apprised Ms Ittyerah about the modern dispatch technology adopted by SECL in the form of First-Mile-Connectivity (FMC) projects to mechanize coal handling and movement of coal from pitheads to rail sidings for swift and sustainable coal dispatch.
GM SECR assured CMD SECL that SECR would extend all possible support with regards to rake availability as well as swift development of rail dispatch infra projects.
