The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended the name of Shankar Nagachari as the next Director (Technical) of Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Ltd (CMPDIL).
Nagachari is presently working as General Manager with the South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), an arm of Coal India Limited.
CMPDI is a subsidiary of Coal India Limited (CIL) that is under the ownership of Ministry of Coal. It is engaged in the field of environmental engineering and provides consultancy and engineering services across the globe.
