Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will launch the second phase of Mukhya Mantri Jan Seva Abhiyan from Alirajpur on Wednesday.
The Chief Minister chaired a high level meeting Monday to take stock of preparations for the campaign that will continue till May 25. The District Collectors of Raisen, Sehore, Dewas, Dhar, Bhopal, Sidhi, Ujjain, Datia, Khargone and Gwalior attended the meeting held in virtual mode.
Chouhan said that the campaigns conducted in the past to solve the problems of the citizens have been successful. The first phase of the campaign, Vikas Yatras and the registration campaign for Mukhya Mantri Ladli Bahna Yojana has been popular and meaningful. The aim of the state government is to ensure eligible people get the benefits of the schemes.
The Chief Minister warned that those committing irregularity and lethargy in the works related to the public interest would be axed. He said he would be visiting the villages and cities under the campaign to get the ground reality of delivery.
The ministers in-charge of the districts will also participate in the campaign. The officials had been asked to take time bound action on the pending applications. Besides, newly received complaints will also be resolved with a deadline.
Chouhan said Collectors should make necessary framework at the district level to provide service to the general public at their doorstep. The 67 major services related to the general public include birth death certificate, driving license, local resident certificate, division, undisputed nomination, building permission, registration of vehicles. Chouhan said that there should be a concrete solution to the problems of the people.
