Vedanta Aluminium, India’s largest producer of aluminium, commemorated the grand inauguration and consecration ceremony of the newly constructed Shree Jagannath Mandir at its township Vedanta Meadows in Jharsuguda with full religious fervour and pomp.
Spread over a sprawling 19,500 square feet area coupled with the majestic Meghanada Prachira covering 9,500 square feet, the Shree Jagannath Mandir stands as a remarkable testament to architectural brilliance. Drawing inspiration from the timeless grandeur of the Jagannath Temple in Puri, every aspect of this temple has been meticulously crafted in accordance with Vastu Shastra, ensuring that each detail reflects the divine essence and sanctity treasured by centuries of tradition.
Notable sectional structures include the Natamandap, Jagamohan, Rekha Mandir, Maa Laxmi Mandir, and Maa Bimala Mandir. Additionally, the temple complex features dedicated shrines for Lord Lokanatha, Lord Hanuman, Lord Ganesh, and the sthambhas of Aruna and Garuda.
The distinguished guests who graced the occasion included Pratap Keshari Deb, State Minister of MSME, Energy and Industries, Odisha, Ms. Alka Mohanty, MLA Brajrajnagar and Ms. Dipali Das, MLA Jharsuguda besides others.
Addressing the devotees, Sunil Gupta, COO – Vedanta Aluminium, said, “Over a year ago, the Bhumi pooja for the construction of the temple was performed and today, we are witnessing a resplendent house of worship that has been designed meticulously, aligning to the sacred traditions of the revered Jagannath Temple in Puri. The new temple will serve as a place of worship and harmony for the entire community.”
