SJVN Limited, a mini ratra joint venture of Government of India and Government of Himachal Pradesh has bagged 100 MW grid connected solar PV power project in Punjab.
“In Compliance with regulation 30 read with Schedule III of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements), Regulations 2015, this is to inform you that SJVN has bagged 100 MW
Grid connected Solar PV Power Project from Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd (PSPCL) through Tariff based Competitive Bidding Process,” the company which is a Schedule “A” Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) said in a regulatory filing today.
The project will be on Build Own and Operate (BOO) basis through e-Reverse Auction (e-RA) at a tariff of Rs 2.69 per unit.
The tentative cost of Construction of this project is Rs 545 crore. The project is expected to generate 245.28 MU in the first year, while the cumulative energy generation over a period of 25
years would be around 5643.52 MU. The Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) shall be signed between PSPCL and SJVN for 25 years.
