Smt. Ammini Ram Das passed away on Saturday after a brief illness in Raipur.
Wife of late Shri K Ram Das, she was mother of News Riveting Editor R Krishna Das and Smt. Smita Nair, and mother-in-law of Sheena Krishna Das and Santosh Nair. Known for her humbleness, hospitality and smiling face, she breathed her last at an age of 84. The last rites were performed at Devendra Nagar crematorium on Sunday.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, former Chief Minister Raman Singh, leaders across political spectrum, bureaucrats, office bearers of different organizations affiliated to Keralites expressed heartfelt condolences over the demise of Smt. Ammini Ram Das. In his message, the Chief Minister prayed for the soul to rest in peace.
