Coal Production and Dispatch from Captive and Commercial Mines Goes up by 27% and 29% respectively during Current Fiscal upto February 2024

Coal production and dispatch from captive and commercial coal blocks has shown a remarkable growth during the period of April to November 2023.

Company’s production increased by 12.6 per cent year-on-year to 51.4 MT in the month of September.

Of the above, 40 million tonnes of coal has been dispatched to the power sector.

Coal despatch to NRS customers is averaging 3.67 Lakh tonnes per day in Q4 FY’23 till date.

The spokesperson said SECL had delivered historic results in over-burden removal (OBR) this year

In another major leap forward, the company has liquidated 20 MT of its pithead stock.
