The award was given to Srinivasan during the recently concluded 21st Coordination Meeting of Financial Directors of Coal India.

G Srinivasan on Friday took over as the Director (Finance) of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), an arm of state-run Coal India Limited (CIL).

He started his career in 1987 from Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), another entity of the CIL headquartered at Nagpur.
