Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the corrupt and tainted had come together, and joining hands to take on him.

Addressing the Chhattisgarh BJP’s Mahasankalp rally here in Raipur on Friday, Modi said the political parties now showing unity had been abusing each other. They were looking for options to grill each other, Modi said, adding that they were now showing unity to scare him.

“Jo dar jaaye, wo Modi nahi,” Modi said, using a Hindi phrase that means “The one who gets scared is not Modi”. He said that the BJP was not afraid of anyone and that it would continue to fight for the development. The Prime Minister said those who had tainted images following corruption had joined hands.

He said he would punish all those who had been involved in corruption and looted state’s resources. “They take the guarantee of corruption and I take the guarantee of action against them,” Modi added.
