Jamshedpur, September 18
Tata Steel UISL, in commemoration of the 9th anniversary of the Swachh Bharat Mission and the 2nd anniversary of SBM-U 2.0, has commenced the “Swachhata Hi Seva” fortnight from September 15 to October 2, 2023.
As part of this fortnight, TSUISL observed the Seva Divas on September 17th, 2023, by partnering with the NCC team of the 37th Jharkhand Battalion and various NGOs to clean the Gandhi Ghat. Over 400 enthusiastic volunteers actively participated in the cleanliness drive, spreading the message of a clean Jamshedpur city.
The drive aimed to inspire citizens to maintain cleanliness and represent our city as the proud “Jamshedpur Jaguars” in the upcoming “Indian Swachhata League (ISL 2.0).”
In addition to the Gandhi Ghat cleanup, 150 volunteers gathered at Jubilee Park, collaborating with Tata
Consulting Engineers, to contribute towards a cleaner city. These activities were carried out in coordination with the JNAC team, ensuring a comprehensive and impactful approach to cleanliness.
The “Swachhata Hi Seva” fortnight serves as a reminder of the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in our daily lives. It also highlights the progress made over the past nine years in the Swachh Bharat Mission and the continued commitment to achieving a cleaner and healthier India.
