Tata Steel UISL has successfully completed a comprehensive drain cleaning initiative across key
locations in Jamshedpur. The cleaning drive targeted several major drainage points that are critical to the city’s sanitation and flood prevention systems.
The locations covered include: Mulchand Singh Bagan Big Drain, Back Side of Sakchi Gurudwara, Nehru Colony, Sitaramdera Pulia, Bhalubasa Pulia, Slag Road, Bhalubasa Harijan Basti, Slag Road, Gangotri Complex, Near RD Tata Goalchhakar, Kalimati Road TCI, Refugee Colony.
The operation involved the deployment of specialised equipment and trained personnel to remove accumulated waste, silt and debris, ensuring smooth water flow and reducing the risk of waterlogging during the monsoon season.
Residents are encouraged to approach Jusco Sahoyag Kendra and also to cooperate with the ongoing work and report any drainage issues to the concerned authorities. This proactive initiative reflects Tata Steel UISL’s commitment to urban resilience and public safety during the monsoon season.
