The Armed Forces of Ukraine had claimed that it had eliminated about 85,720 Russian troops in Ukraine from February 24 to November 24, including 310 over the past day alone.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted it on Facebook, according to Ukrinform. The enemy’s total combat losses include also 2,898 tanks (+1 over the past day), 5,839 armored combat vehicles (+7), 1,889 artillery systems (+2), 395 multiple launch rocket systems, 209 air defense systems, 278 warplanes, 261 helicopters, 4,400 motor vehicles (+4), 16 warships/cutters, 1,547 unmanned aerial vehicles (+10), 161 special equipment units. A total of 531 enemy cruise missiles (+51) were shot down.
It is noted that Russian troops have suffered the highest losses in Lyman, Avdiivka and Bakhmut directions.
Meanwhile, aircraft of the Defense Forces of Ukraine on Thursday launched 12 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the Russian army, as well as 2 strikes air defense positions of the enemy.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its operational updates posted on Facebook. According to the General Staff, as of 18:00, the enemy continues armed aggression against Ukraine, focusing its efforts on restraining the actions of the Defense Forces and attempting to hold the temporarily captured territories.
At the same time, the enemy is improving the fortification equipment of the defensive line, conducting offensive actions in certain directions, relocating personnel, weapons and military equipment to the areas of hostilities.
During the current day, Russian troops have launched 2 airstrikes and 16 MLRS attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces and civilian objects.
In Kherson region, the enemy intensified counter-subversive and police measures in the temporarily captured territories of the Skadovsk district in connection with effective fire damage to the facilities of the Russian troops. In particular, in Novomykolaivka and Krasne, the invaders checked homes, phones and documents of local residents.
