Governor Ramen Deka and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai accorded a warm welcome to Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar on his arrival in Raipur
The Vice President receiving a rousing reception at the Swami Vivekananda Airport. Dhankhar landed in the Chhattisgarh capital Tuesday evening to attend a programme of an academic institution and a private programme.
Besides Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development Tokhan Sahu, MLAs Sunil Soni, Motilal Lal Sahu, Purandar Mishra, Anuj Sharma and Guru Khuswant Saheb welcomed the Vice President.
Acting Chief Secretary Smt. Renu G. Pillai, Director General of Police Ashok Juneja, Raipur Collector Dr Gaurav Singh and Senior Superintendent of Police Lal Umed Singh were also present on the occasion.
