Raipur, December 21,

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai stated that the Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Act has a robust framework designed to ensure trust, dignity, and security in the lives of the rural labourers.

The initiative has been structured to deliver timely employment, full remuneration, and a transparent system to the rural labourers.

The Chief Minister said that through VB–G RAM G Act, concerted efforts have been made to minimise the scope for any irregularities in the employment process and to ensure that workers are not deprived of their rightful entitlements. By ensuring that wages are transferred directly into bank accounts, this will strengthen the economic security of rural labourers.

He further stated that VB–G RAM G Act incorporates modern provisions such as biometric authentication, real-time monitoring, AI-based analysis, and citizen participation, creating a strong and transparent framework for the effective protection of the rights of rural labourers. These measures will not only enhance the quality of work but will also ensure greater transparency and institutional accountability across the system.

The Chief Minister noted that the Act embodies the guiding principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas’ under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. In line with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, the Act represents a decisive step towards empowering rural India and promoting self-reliance, while providing dignified and sustainable livelihood opportunities.

He emphasised that respect for labourers, timely access to employment, and a transparent system form the foundation of a strong nation. The VB–G RAM G Act, he said, is a significant step towards strengthening this foundation.
