Chhattisgarh sets target to increase GSDP to Rs 10 trillion by 2028: CM Vishnu Deo Sai

The BJP government led by Vishnu Deo Sai had completed a year in power even as the Chief Minister said the period was a “year of trust”.
Addressing the media persons along with BJP state president Kiran Singh Dev, deputy chief ministers Arun Saw, Vijay Sharma and cabinet members, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that on the completion of one year of the government, he congratulates all his cabinet colleagues. “I congratulate all the leaders and workers of the organization. I express my gratitude to the people, who have given us the opportunity to serve Chhattisgarh Mahtari by giving a historic mandate. We have called this one year a year of trust,” Sai said.
The Chief Minister added that there was an atmosphere of distrust in the Congress government. Democracy was under threat. “But our government has worked to establish democracy and protect the Constitution. We have had the good fortune of fulfilling the promises we made under Modi’s guarantee in one year,” Sai said.
Sai released a message for the public titled ‘Vishnu Ki Paati’ (letter from Vishnu), describing the achievements of the BJP government in the last one year. The Chief Minister said that the target had been to increase Chhattisgarh’s GDP to 10 lakh crore (Rs 10 trillion) by 2028. “Our government is working in this direction,” he said.
He said that in one year they have presented a government of good governance to the people. Control on corruption, action against criminals, justice to farmers, rice bowl is full, salutation to women, PM housing for the poor, justice to PSC youth, all this has happened in the last one year.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao said that the Vishnu Deo Sai government was formed exactly one year ago. The public had given a historic mandate. In this one year, the government fulfilled Modi’s guarantee. “Our slogan was we built it, we will make it. This slogan is coming true today. I congratulate the Chief Minister and all my colleagues for a year full of achievements,” Sao added.
