A post on the social media that “It is not Nepal claiming, its’ a claim made by their PM Oli” spoke volume of development unfolding in neighbouring Himalayan country related to Lord Rama.

Consolidating Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli’s claim that Lord Rama is a “Nepali”, a local government of Nepal has decided to build Ayodhyapuri Dham spanning over 100 Bighas or 40 acres of land.

The Madi Municipality of Chitwan district, where Lord Rama was born as claimed by Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli, has decided to allot the land for the construction of Ayodhyapuri Dham.

The politicians, no matter which country, will do or say whatever is beneficial to them personally or for their party that may not necessarily be beneficial to their nation. Oli is no exception.

Within his own country, the Nepalese Prime Minister is in a tight spot. His integrity has come under question because of allowing too much interference by the Chinese ambassador in Nepal politics or governance.

Officially Nepal is not a Hindu Nation; it is ruled by Communist parties. Under the communist influence, Nepal has been converted from a Hindu nation to a Secular nation. So ideally and ideologically, Oli has no right to raise religious matter, or Hinduism or about “Rama”

“He is least bothered whether “Rama” belongs to India or Nepal. Neither of his claims makes any difference. But he is trying to sell whatever he could be sold,” said a political commentator in Kathmandu.

Religious sentiments are the easiest and the chest commodity to sell as well as the best weapon to catch vote. Oli needed something very badly to cover up his spoiled image and failure as well as to get the public support for his political existence.

The experts said he did not have anything much to showcase his performance on the economic front and also justify his inclining to China or the increasing Chinese interference that is not going well with the common people of Nepal.

Oli feels Lord Rama may help him to gain trust of people.
