The sylvan industrial township of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) is adorning a new look with artistic street art, murals and sculptures giving pleasant and memorable experience to the visitors as well as Rourkelites.
They are well complimented with artistic illumination and fountain. All the important road intersections, public places and strategic junctions along the Ring Road have got artistic transformation with the new makeover campaign to give the city a unique look initiated by the Town Engineering Department under the guidance of Atanu Bhowmick, Director In-Charge, RSP.
The sculptures splendidly placed on platforms portray the rich tribal heritage of the region and the bio-diversity to spread the message of sustainability. Similarly, the beautifully painted murals display the cultural richness of the state and the country.
