Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai paid heartfelt tribute to Bharat Ratna Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar on the occasion of his birth anniversary, remembering him as a towering architect of social justice and equality.
Chief Minister Sai said that Babasaheb Ambedkar was a steadfast champion of social justice, equality, and human rights. He dedicated his entire life to the upliftment of the underprivileged, exploited, and marginalized sections of society, and laid the foundation of an India where every individual is assured of equal opportunities and dignity.
Highlighting the enduring relevance of Ambedkar’s teachings, Sai stated that his life serves as a powerful reminder that education is the most potent instrument for bringing about positive social transformation.
Chief Minister further noted that the Government of Chhattisgarh remains firmly committed to imbibing Babasaheb’s ideals and principles, and to ensuring the holistic development of every section of society. Various schemes of the state government are being implemented with the objective of ensuring inclusive growth and equitable access to opportunities, especially for those at the last mile.
Sai emphasized that the government’s continuous endeavour is to empower every citizen of the state in the fields of education, healthcare, employment, and social security, enabling them to move towards self-reliance.
Appealing to the people of the state, the Chief Minister urged citizens to internalize the values and vision of Babasaheb Ambedkar and actively contribute towards building a just, harmonious, and empowered society.
