After Russia launched the full-scale war against Ukraine on Thursday, Yaryna Arieva and Sviatoslav Fursin were uncertain whether they would be able to live together.

Unsure of the future, Yaryna Arieva and Sviatoslav Fursin rushed their wedding and got married to the sounds of sirens blaring the Russian invasion. However, instead of going on a honeymoon trip, the couple joined the local Territorial Defense Center to help efforts to defend the country. They have taken up arms to counter Russia.

She is the first female to voluntarily pick up arms in full defence for Ukraine when feminists ran away. The couple believe they will die together if they fail to live.

Ukrainian serviceman Vitaliy Skakun set an example of patriotism by blowing himself to collapse a bridge in Henichesk in order to stop the advance of a tank column. To stop the advance of the tank column, the decision was made to blow up the Henichesk road bridge.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that Vitaliy Skakun, an engineer of the separate battalion, volunteered to perform this task. The bridge was planted, but he did not have time to leave.

According to his comrades, Vitaliy got in touch and said that he was blowing up the bridge. An explosion was heard immediately. “Our comrade died. His heroic deed significantly slowed the enemy’s advance, which allowed the unit to redeploy and organize the defense,” an official statement said.

Unconfirmed reports of an ace Ukrainian fighter pilot have gone viral, with social media users dubbing the fighter the “Ghost of Kyiv.” Supposedly downing as many as six Russian planes in the first day of combat, the Ghost of Kyiv — and their MiG-29 Fulcrum — quickly became a folk hero in a war breathlessly watched online.

According to one widely circulated post, the Ghost of Kyiv supposedly shot down four Russian fighter jets — two Su-35 Flankers, one Su-27 Flanker and one MiG-29 Fulcrum — as well as two ground-attack aircraft, so-called Su-25 Frogfoots.

Above all, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is not only becoming a hero in his own country, he has drawn the attention of the entire world with his brave act. He rejects the US evacuation offer: “I need ammunition, ‘not a ride’,” despite knowing he is Russia’s No 1 target. The 44-year-old people’s president has said he may not survive for long…the brave heart in combat fatigue is in the war zone fighting the Russians.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy

Twitter is flooded with the praises for the President. One said: Mad respect for the president of Ukraine because that is what heroes do! He took off his regular clothes and put on a military uniform to protect his land from the Russian Army. Zelensky is the man!

Another added, “I can’t remember a person in my lifetime I’ve respected more than this man. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a former COMEDIAN of all things. He’s remained in the Ukraine to personally fight Russia despite being their first target. A modern legend, and true hero.”
